Semenya is, as you note, &quot;intersex,&quot; which is not just a chosen term, but also the biologically accurate way to refer to individuals with a blend of gender characteristics. The title of the post was chosen more for alliteration than accuracy.<br /><br />What appears to have been lost in your reading of my post is that I do not in any way condemn Ms. Semenya. In fact, the purpose of my writing was to challenge Christians who still labor under the delusion that same-gender orientation is just &quot;choosing a sinful lifestyle.&quot; <br /><br />Gender may have strong polarities, but it is...biologically speaking... a continuum. Within that continuum, those who choose to express their God-given sexuality in ways that show respect for and grace to other persons are, quite frankly, living the sort of life Jesus would want.
